May 13

Week Commencing Tuesday 13th May 2019

The Governors and staff had their Annual Governor/Staff Away Day on Saturday 12th May, this is an opportunity for us all to get together to pray and to reflect upon the school year and plan how to move the school forward taking into account all the new national initiatives, legislation and Inspection requirements. It is always a productive day.

The children and I are busy bird watching – we are checking the skies for the arrival of the first swallows. We recently shared an assembly where we considered the route that swallows take to migrate and how they arrive from A to B safely –we went on to consider how God has a plan for our lives.

On Monday Prep 5 parents are invited to an information evening for the children who are going to Alton Castle. Mr Salt will lead the evening, this is a short meeting which hopefully informs parents and gives them the opportunity to speak to Mr Salt and Miss Farnley prior to the trip.

On Tuesday Prep 3 will be leading our May Day Procession at 9-15am. Parents and Carers are most welcome to attend. We pray for good weather so that we can process around the school.

On Friday Prep 4 will be taking part in Bikeability - all those taking part will need their bicycles and helmets in school.

We look forward to another busy week in school.

We are pleased to show prospective parents and pupils around our school.
