Week Commencing 15th January 2018

I hope that you are managing to avoid the particularly nasty strain of ‘flu’ that is around currently. We continue to pray for all those who are sick.

On a brighter note we were delighted that our Netball team won the Stoke U11 High 5 Netball tournament on Tuesday 9th January and now go forward to represent Stoke at the next stage of the competition. Well done to all the team and to Miss Gerrard who has coached the team.

In the coming week I am pleased to be showing a lot of visitors around the school, Monday is a particularly busy day - our Nursery is continuing to be very popular.

On Tuesday P5 will be leading Assembly at 3pm in the School Hall. Parents and carers are most welcome to attend.
Swimming begins on 18th January for P3/P4. We advise that children attend school in their track suits as this makes the changing process much easier for them.

I shall be attending the CISC Conference (Catholic Independent Schools Conference) on Thursday and Friday. This year a little closer to home in Liverpool. Key note speakers this year are Professor Gerald J Pillay, Vice – Chancellor and Rector at Liverpool Hope University. Dr John Patterson, Principal at St Vincent’s school for the visually impaired and an internationally published author.

We look forward to a busy week with lots of being achieved in all areas of the curriculum.
