Week Commencing 3rd July 2017

Thank you to all the children and staff who took part and worked hard to make last week such an enjoyable time. The Sports day went well, despite the intermittent rain and the cool temperature.

The Nursery assembly demonstrated the progress that the children in our Nursery have made and how much they are enjoying themselves!

All the Prize Giving’s were a great celebration of the successes throughout the year.
Our ‘piece de resistance was of course ‘Oliver’- a ‘West End’ type production.
What a marvellous night we had, thank you to everyone.

This week we see the end of term looming when it is time to say ‘Goodbye’ to our current Prep 6.

On Monday P6 are out at a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) morning at Burslem College, which should be very interesting.

On Wednesday P4 will be taking their Level 1 Bikeability. By the end of the year P6/P5/P4 will have all received some level of Bikeability training. I believe it is very important that all children understand how to ride safely when out on their bicycles, particularly as I am sure that this will be a favourite occupation during the summer holidays.

On Thursday PP2 and P5 have their last swimming session. On Thursday we also have our Leavers Mass at 1-30pm, led by Father Rob at St Teresa’s Church. Parents and Carers are most welcome.
On Thursday it is also the PTA Leavers Disco here in school 3-30 to 5-30p.m - so dancing shoes on for this event!

Friday is the end of term. We say goodbye to our current Prep 6 with our Leavers Assembly at 9-30 a.m. Parents and cares are most welcome to attend; refreshments will be served.

Term ends at 3-25 as usual with Joes Club until 5-50p.m

I take this opportunity to wish you a wonderful; happy, healthy and relaxing summer and look forward to seeing everyone again in September.

God bless.
