I hope that all Mums had an enjoyable Mother’s Day; it was certainly lovely to hear all the things that the Early Years and Pre Prep children had to say about their Mums and how much they loved them.
This week is the turn of Prep 3 to be involved in Lenten Fund raising.
The Sponsored Spell Forms will be going out this week ready for our ‘Spell Off’ on 6th April.
On Tuesday there will be a ‘Bags to School’ collection so please take the opportunity to have a ‘Spring Clean’ of your wardrobes and send in any unwanted items; all funds raised are for the PTA funds.
The School Nurse is in on Wednesday at 1-15pm to check the Reception children’s height and weight.
Children from Prep 4 and Prep 5 will be taking part in the Recorder Festival at the Victoria Hall. Mrs Moore will be taking children from Pre Prep 2 to watch the Recorder Concert.
There is no Dance Workshop this week.
Thursday is the last swim of this half term for Prep3 and Prep 4 (next half term it will be Pre Prep 2 and Prep 5’s turn to swim).
Bikeability takes place on Thursday and Friday for the children in Prep 5 and Prep 6. This is an important part of the school year as we give the children the opportunity to learn how to ride their bikes safely.
On Friday afternoon the PTA will be holding a ‘Pop Up Shop’; this has proved very popular in the pastas it is an opportunity to by ‘previously loved’, good quality uniform.
Throughout the week we have members of staff who are taking part in Professional development courses.
